Cape of Good Hope
Drive through Campsbay and Houtbay along the most spectacular coast in the world to Chapman’s Peak Drive doing several photo stops. Then on to the most beautiful Cape in the whole circumference of the earth, not for nothing known as the Cape of Storms. At Boulders Beach we visit the charming African Penguin, before driving through to Kalk Bay for late lunch. Full Day.
Drive to Paarl, to the pearl on the Wine Route for a visit to Babylonstoren to marvel at its famous garden and to do a winetasting. At Franschhoek, the French Quarter at the Cape we stroll through the village before visiting Chamonix Vineyard for a tasting. In Stellenbosch, the oak town of South Africa we do a walk through the historic streets to admire the Cape Dutch architecture. A late lunch at Jordan Vineyard is followed by a winetasting. Full Day.
City Tour with Table Mountain
We take the cable car (weather dependent and the ticket not included) up the uniquest mountain on earth to admire the incomparable views of the Cape. Afterwards we walk through the Cape Malay Quarter and visit a spice shop. At Blouberg Beach there is a photo stop to get your postcard picture of the mountain and the sea. Driving through town we pass by the castle, the oldest still standing building in South Africa. Then a walk takes us through the Company’s Garden past Parliament, the Anglican St George’s Cathedral and the old Dutch Reformed Mother Church. Half Day.
Visit the Townships, Langa und Gugulethu close to the city centre to learn more about the rich cultural diversity of this city. A walk through the business centre of Langa brings us close to the heartbeat of life here. 2 Hours.
Drive down the False Bay Coast past Bettysbay and Kleinmond to Hermanus, known as one of the best places in the world to do shore based whale watching between June and November. It is a truely remarkable experience to see them breach. A late lunch at the Newton Johnson Vineyard with a winetasting rounds off the day. Full Day.
